Mission & History
More than 400 people who feel that libraries are important have become members of the Friends. This award-winning group contributes many volunteer hours, materials, and money to strengthen library programs and services. Each year they sponsor a gala Wine-Tasting, noteworthy Book Sales, and a prestigious Art Fair. Join them! Your tax-deductible donations to The Friends are also greatly appreciated.
Becoming a Friend
Being a Friend of the Library, is a gratifying, satisfying experience. The Friends develop and support programs and projects which benefit patrons of all ages. Of particular importance, are programs for the children. Early introduction to reading develops a life-long friendship with the wonderful world of books. Friends' members receive a monthly newsletter, advance announcement of special events, discounted prices for some of the fund raising activities and the opportunity to work with a great group of people.
